Default Ipod touch without itunes

Hi,

Just bought an ipod touch (always had sony walkmans before) and am struggling with itunes. I have a load of albums in mp3 format on disc and transferring them through itunes is proving very testing Is there a way of bypassing itunes and just drag and dropping music from a disc or harddrive straight onto the ipod (as you do with walkmans...even I can
manage that )
Thanks Paul

There are a few programs such as Media Monkey and SharePod which will do the trick.

+1 I have both. SharePod is great if you just want to drag and drop to your iPod. Media Monkey is the way to go if you want a full music management solution with iPod support.
