Can anybody help me out with this problem?
My friend has got several extension leads connecting to one another around the house, but i've tried dialing the number from a landline phone (with all the extension leads connected) and it seems fine (the screeching sound like a fax)
He recieves message minder (answering machine service) but even so, i have unchecked 'wait for dial tone' on modem options
Any help much appreciated!
