I recorded a movie through my tuner card (winfast deluxe) using the winfast pvr software, i edited the program and removed all ads and then burnt it to cdrom.

I went and played it in my dvd player (which does play SVCD) and the sound falls behind, this has happened everytime i have recorded to a CD or DVD.

My system stats are

Athlon 2600
512 DDR ram
Using a hard drive with 60 gigs of space on it
Winfast deluxe Tv tuner
8 x CDburner

Could the problem be the cd burner?

Thanks
Jonno

Does the sound fall behind when you playback the file on the computer? Try demuxing the video and audio (to m2v + mp2), then muxing them back together again.

When i play it from the computer it works fine.

These setting you spoke about where would you find them and why would they effect the sound?

And what the hell is Demuxing????

Thanks for the response...

Demuxing or demultiplexing = splitting off one or more contained streams. So split the mpg back into elementary audio and video streams. Then remux back into an mpg.
