I'm currently using this:

And this is what I'm thinking of in term of upgrading:

Since they are the same price but a bit different from memory bandwith and core clock and memory clock, I have no idea which one is better. So, can anyone give me some opinions, advices, rating, etc...Anything help is appreciated! Thanks a bunch in advance!

Not really upgrading, if I used the wrong term. I just noticed the 6800 after I bought the 6600 for several weeks. Since the 6800 came out 6600, it should has something better to offer (IMO). That's why I'm thinking of exchanging it since it's not over 30 days yet. However, I don't know which one is better, so any help is greatly appreciated!

looking at the specs I would say the 6600GT is the better option, a higher clock speed on both counts, the 6800 doesnt say how it has increased the memory bandwidth, usually done with more efficient, faster ram, or the 6800 may be a 256 bit card and the 6600GT a 128 bit card, I take it your an avid game player !!

Personally I would stick with what you have, the clock speeds are far in excess of the other card, but I aint a game player..

So now I know what I should do, thanks a lot Nut. By the way, both cards are 128MB, that's why they are on the same price and that's why I'm asking for advices in the first place. The 6800 at 256MB is way too high, it's $499.99 a piece, it's not worth it, IMO. Anyway, I really do appreciate your opinions!

okay just had a quick lookup on the cards, the 6600 is 128bit and the 6800 is 256 bit also the 6600 has 12 pipelines and the 6800 has 16, so if you wanna play games at the full frame rate the 6800 is the better option.

I take back my last comment :) if you can change the card for the "upgrade" to the 6800

The physical memory size doesnt have a lot of face value on Graphics cards, a bit memory doesnt mean a Big card, and can sometimes cause problems keeping the thing cool

OK, right on Nut! :) I'm heading to Fry's now! Do you want anything on my way back? Popcorn, cookies or something? :) Anyway, thanks for the help 'cause I only have two more days before the satisfaction guaratee is over, one day only if no one answer my question unitl tomorrow. Thanks!
