A new sandwich shop opens up and a line quickly forms from the counter , out the door and down the street. A passer-by asks the woman at the back of the line what the big deals is.
"They'll make any sandwich you want, any filling, and if they can't they will pay you $100"
"This is a good deal" the passer-by thinks & joins the queue.
As he get close to the counter he hears orders from people ahead of him.
"One Otter and Trouffle on brown bread"
moments later it's delivered
The next customer steps up: "too easy, I'll have Siberian Tiger with Yaks cheese on a blueberry bagel"
two minutes later it's produced and one slightly bewildered customer wanders out
The woman in front of our erstwhile hero then steps up, confident her order of "whale blubber cured in 100 year old brandy on a soy bun" will have them stumped. Her smile fades as the waiter returns with her sandwich and bids her an 'enjoy your lunch' fairwell.
Our Hero steps up, he's had some time to think and is certain has a sure fire winner:
"I'll have pickled mamoth trunk on a brown roll"
The waiter retires to the kitchen, time passes, 5 minutes, 10, 15 minutes.
Eventually the waiter comes back in, crest-fallen he hands the customer $100. The manager rushes over, "you've paid that man $100, what happened?" , "It's very embarrasing", replied the waiter , "We're all out of bread rolls"
Boom tish!
