Help need with dvd remote - doesnt seem to work :(

hi folks, i got this xbox off hrgiger(bst member) - link here

it came with the dvd remote and adapter which goes in one of the controller ports, but when i go to play a film, the films plays in dvdregion x and an icon comes up sayng the remote wont work :(

any ideas on how i can get this working?

ive emailed hrgiger but he hasnt replied :(

DVD Region X doesn't work with the remote. What you will need to do is disable the auto-boot feature and then use another program. I know it kinda pisses me off too. I understand that the folks who made DVD Region X were just trying to give people without the remote an alternative but they need to make it so that it works either way. Anyways you can exit out and use either XBMC or you can exit into the MS Dash in which case the default XBOX DVD Player will pick up.
