Schindlers List, cant backup....

Trying to use DVDshrink to back up this movie and errors out when it tries to read the disk. Is there another way to backup this movie? thanks

There are loads of ways to back it up, but if the disk gives read errors, you will likely have the same problem, whatever software you use.

Have you tried cleaning the disk and tried ripping it in the Burner drive ? this can be more tolerant sometimes.

When you say "errors out" ... what is the error message ?

Yup, more often then not is is a dirty/scratched disc (or maybe even a defective one) that causes the trouble and not the software.

When I tried using DVD Shrink to rip and compress Shrek it straight away came up with errors so I just ripped it with DVD Decrypter then ran the files through DVD Shrink, worked perfectly that way.
