i am thinking of getting the canon i965 photo printer ,does anyone have opinions on this i am presently using the epson 950,and i was wondering if anyone has info on the the new range of epson printers ie the r300 , r800 etc regarding print quality and the cd printing side of these units as the 950 was a bit of a nightmare.cheers gordon79

IMHO the canon range seem to suffer less from head clogging, the little canon i250 I just bought is excellent (£50 from Argos).
Dosent print cd but the photo quality is lovely even using refill ink from cartex.

for your demands It would have to be the Epson R300M and you would be well pleased with cd printing, although for photographic prints alone the Cannon i965 takes some beating if quality paper is used.

I have the Epson R300 and can say it's a great printer for photo's, labels and dvd/cd printing. The cartridges are also at a good price as well. One full set of cartridges has lasted me for close to 200 labels/cd's/dvd's in high resolution.

I like what they have done to the ink wells and the way it measures the ink level, splatter counting would be a dissapointment on such a good printer.
