PS2 WIRELESS CONTROLLER with RF
I want to be able to put my PS2 with my AV gear, behind a glass cabinet door. Therefore a wireless RF controller would be best.
Would I need an RF extension to be outside of the cabinet, or will it work through the glass??
I have come across this:
Logic 3 Freebird Wireless RF Controller For PlayStation 2:

What are your experiences?? Any ideas?
Cheers,
Sid

Logitech seems to be OFFICIALLY LICENSED BY SONY; and the reviews below say its 100% pukka!

This could be the ideal choice peeps ... but then why did it not win awards at the E3 Awards (like the 3G Airstyle
3G AIRSTYLE Wireless Soft Touch
http://specialreserve.co.uk/3G_Airstyle_2442_r.html
• Play with up to 8 Wireless Airstyle controllers, automatic connection feature (over 65,000 security IDs)
This is a major benefit of the Airstyle remote though!!
The Logitech Cordless Action Controller ...which I was just about to buy... only works with its own RF receiver, which you have to have one per controller.
It works on Radio A & B frequencies... so if you had a 3rd or more controllers they will get confused in the other frequencies. So a multitap is out of the equation.
However according to Airstyle you can play 8 controllers with the one receiver... (max you'd prob need is 4 anyway)
DILEMNA...

Any cheaper place to buy other than Logitech (over £30), or refurbed ones from eBay?

You sync them up one at a time indiviually with the button on the dongle and then you would also probably have to buy a multitap extender and place it it one port that should work fine this would apply to any wireless controllers you bought
