New Modem/Router Grief

Just swapped a D-Link DSL-300G+ ethernet modem (because it kept dropping my ADSL at times) for a Netgear DG834 combined modem/router. Now I think I've just about configured everything after many hours inc port forwarding and using a static IP so I can get BitTorrent working through the hardware firewall.

Now all in all this kit works great apart from a couple of problems.

1) BitTorrent speeds are not good despite making special rules in firewall settings and port forwarding setup.

2) For some weird reason on say using a site like this if I copy & paste from another site and include it in my post I just cannot post it. Page just hangs around forever. If I make a normal typed post like this all seems fine. :confused:

Anyone any ideas?

It's all up to Netgear sever. I've been experiencing the same occurences with my Netgear WGT624 and some various USB adapter such as WG111/111T/111U. If you check your network setting, I'm pretty sure you'll see at least one or two other networks that appear on your connection status screen. All I had to do is just to reset the configuration at Netgear server and remove the login password of my connection network, then problem solved. I hope this wiil help at least a bit.
