I just was wondering ifthere is a way to format the MC, just curiosity.

Sit at the browser and delete everything. Unless you have an exploit on the memory card then you can do it through ftp.

There's a util called qatools you can dl & burn to format & unformat bad cards. It's on a rival site so you will have to google for it.
