View Full Version : How do you totally disable a mod-chip??

my box is modded with an xecuter 3 chip. I need to totally disable it (rather than have to hold the power button in for a sec) so that there's no chance it will stop my xbox live account. i'm concerned that one of these days i'll forget to disable it and go on live.

would i be best to take the chip out??

You rig a switch on dzero. Dzero is the power for the chip and with a switch placed on the line you effectively cut off the functionality. Since it's an x3 you might find a guide at the team xecutor forums.

If I am not mistaken the bios that you installed for that chip probably will not allow you to go on live with the chip active if I am not mistaken which bios do you have installed?
