Napster... Music Match... Real ONE... iTUNES...

Looking for cheap price... and legal dl'ing

Trying to avoid paying a monthly fee on top of $1/song..

Like RealONE is like $10 or $15 a month.. + $.79 a song.....

NAPSTER i haven't looked into much, BUT I THINK... its $10 a month, + some free songs, and $1 new songs.. or something

But I'm also trying to avoid weird formats... i want MP3.. and wma has weird protection thing on it.. i'd rather just not figure out

That's pretty much your options. napster is free, but you only get 30 seconds of the song, for 10 dollars a month you get unlimited songs, but it's a dollar a burn.

They're all crap. If you wanna be legal, go buy the cds and rip to your hard drive, its cheaper and can be reburnt as many times as you want, without paying.

Untill the RIAA gets their heads out of their a$$es, there are no decent LEGAL alternatives to P2P etc.

I've seen pepsi bottles sticking out of bins....

however, i'm sure there's a 'no purchase nesceserry' on the bottles - not sure how this works mind.

Head to your local store, open all bottles to check caps, if the store owner ask what the hell you are doing, tell him/her to read the bottle where it clearly label 'No purchase nesceserry' to win something.
