View Full Version : Best CDROM recovery program?
hi
1. after adding a session of data to a recordable cdrom, my pc now says is an audio cd, an wont read its various files as usual!
2. to retrieve the missing data for re-recording onto another blank CDRW, i did try 'blindwrite 3' - but that failed.
3. i then tried 'badcopy 2.73' an tho it works, it only does so after i select each file per folder - but no way am i gonna carry on that way since theres 1000+ files their!
so i need a better prog that copies 'all' cd files in 'one' go.
any pointers?

Obviously, you want to be spoonfed and we can't do that. You need to learn how to use the software before calling names.
rofl...
You seriously don't know how to extract it?

Maybe an apology letter to isobuster ?
Wow, this thread is really going too far...

I'm sure the authors of ISObuster will be just thrilled to find your literary masterpiece in their inbox  not just thrilled in fact, but impressed that i talk the same design langauge their program exhibits. :D
also - if you come across a program thats highly convienent to use, its because someone like me pushed it that way. :)
any way...
I managed to get their program working, an with it what you gotta do is go into EVERY damn folder, highlight EVERY damn file there, then drag them all across, many times over.
not the most efficient of programs then, but still, i do live in hope that a software house one, fine day, when miracles happen, an their brain-cells start working, someone there might just say...
"I know what, lets put a button on the console screen called 'copy' so that the user can 'copy' the cd".
an hopefully followed by...
"great, an how about we have our program actully copy 'all', rather than wasting the users time in having to drag over loads of files in batches"
but one can only hope :(
Dude, wtf?
You can extract the whole cd at once....

I'm not surprised when he's got the same problem with Badcopy.
Dude, wtf?
You can extract the whole cd at once.... afraid not, since all it does is copy over a 'tao' file which is no good to me.
so i'm having to go into each folder to get my files out in their rightful format - yawn

You're incompetence is only matched by your stupidity. If you can't figure out how to do a basic select all and extract all files/directories at once, then the only real problem is with the huge empty space between your ears.

DAAMN, you just said it straight up. QWERTY doesn't flame much, but when he does it ain't pretty.
[May I recomend this as a time to visit the site in my sig]

DELUSIONAL.

MORON.
You are too stupid to use a program which does exactly what you want it to do - and rather than having the sense to just ask how to use it, you make yourself out to be some sort of useful software developer who is actually helping out the authors by sending them direct evidence of your complete incompetence.
I have now sent a link to this thread to the ISObuster team with an apology for your existence.
Go back to CDRG, you fit right in there.
