Whats my IP? Hosting games problem

I’ve got a router and would like to host online games with my mates (as I have the fastest upload stream), However my friends can not find let alone connect to me when I host a game (Unreal 2003). When I search ‘Whats my IP’ in google every hit tells me a different IP, how can I host games which friends can find? (the router is a mystery to me!)

Had a go at that and set up a host name etc but my friends still can't find me within games? is it me!!! supposedly got a stable IP...

You will also need to setup port forwarding on your router for the port used by Unreal. Have a search on here for port forwarding or read the manual as it should help. otherwise shout!
