Got the WAM release of this game and patched it with a large patch that came out.Playing it from a dvd but it freezes on level 3 or maybe 4(its for a mate not played it myself yet,thats why i dont know the level) Is this a known problem and do i have to get a different release?

Well the WAM release originally had a glitch in level 4, but I thought that the patch was supposed to fix that. Are you sure you patched it correctly? I have the same release with the patch but I haven't played it enough to see if level 4 works or not.

the patch was to fix the lockup yes,but the game has gotta be played in Ntsc mode or will lockup on level4 still anyways or any driving part of the game further on in the game,

have same release and after patching play's perfect in ntsc mode as burpy say's

I just backed it up changed the string in hex workshop and works fine. Maybe try doing that. If it gets to frustrating.
