STAR WARS Republic commando - problem anyone had this ?

Burnt, boots up ok everything seems fine except when trying to start it says something along the lines of 'cannot accept a profile beginning with ......'
So i cant start a game this applies to all letters and any profile name i come up with. Have tried the usual ntsc/pal clock but still cant get anywhere, just wondering has anyone else had a problem like this ????

Common fault apparently - if anyone else has a prob gimee a shout its a bit vague but the method given worked for me !!!!

Have your hardrives been upgraded to larger ones?

Had this problem tonight...

...Sorted it in five minutes flat!

It's related to the MS dash...

Basically change the settings around in the dash, the ones that worked for me was changing the language to German and the time to Berlin time.

...You may have to delete the save that it creates as well after you reset everything, but once you have it all running and your first profile created you can put all the settings back to normal and enjoy.
