Hi all, well first of all i hope i'm posting this in the right place, here goes: i've downloaded the iTunes program and start to install it, when it gets to the part where it installs Quicktime i get this error:
"Error decompressing file C:\WINDOWS\system32\QuickTime.qts"
Because of this the iTunes program then doesn't work, anyone have any ideas why this is happening? I thought maybe a corrupt download at first but i've downloaded it like 4 or 5 times but still no joy, someone please help me!!!
Cheers

Did you download from this page (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/)? If not, try it.

If all fails .... you could try an alternative ........ "EphPod 2.75"
It's freeware and can be d'l here :

It works well with Firewire or USB, although description doesn't mention USB, it works fine.
My son uses this, in preference to iTunes and says it makes for easy transfer of files from the ipod to the HDD, as well as the other way round.
