Hi.
I've just installed a pioneer 107 into my comp. But it's not writing at 4 speed.it says it is but it's still taking nearly an hour to do a disc. This is driving me nuts. :insane: I only got this drive so i could write quicker and it's no different from the 104.
Can anyone help please before i through it out of the window.

Thanx
Did

It's a known fact that the Pioneer 107 has problems writing at 8X with 4X rated media. Perhaps a firmware upgrade will correct that.
If you are having a problem writing at 4X with 4X rated media then you need to ensure that DMA is enabled for that drive.
Perhaps you may also want to try different media.
