DVD recorders that play vcd / dvdr ??????

I'm after a dvd recorder but I want it to play vcd and dvdr. Does anyone have 1 that plays these ok?

The MiCO (at Sainsburys) does VCD, and it's under £200. You'll find that *all* DVD recorders can play DVDR though ;)
