Ps2 smart chip pro question

I've just got a ps2 fitted with a smartchip pro fitted. Plays all games but dont know switch it to play dvd's can anyone help?

I have one, I always hold reset until blue light come on, just like old Magic 3

If that's not right then maybe I am retarded but I think that's how I boot em (rarley use it for DVD play back) v7 PS2 w/smart Chip Pro I installed me self
