about to take the plunge and install SP2

OK about to take the plunge and install SP2 (Slip streamed fresh install). What do I need to do once I’ve installed – isn’t it best to install XP-Antispy and how do I stop the ignoring security pop ups (seen on another PC)

Yup xp antispy is always a good idea. You can disable the "security centre" in computer management - services.

Other than that, all as normal AFAIR.

(and long may this snow continue - days off in term time are GOOD!)

Right its on only problem is i can't get Winfast (capture card) to work...not tried that hard though. Seems to be running fine. I'll post problems on the off chance anyone has had the same issues.

Run the compatibility checkers for Sp2, if there are any, to see what programs you have that work with it.
