slim ps2 with infinity installed - divx/mp3?

Got this coming on tuesday. Read stuff about divx/mp3 support? Can someone tell me how this works.. e.g divx movies on my slim ps2? Anything else cool it can do other than play burned games.

You need to get yourself a copy of PS2 Media Player - i've uploaded it here:

Just burn the ISO and boot, lauch media player from the CD, then swap the cd for a cd/dvd with DivX or mp3s on.

As far as I know it only plays Divx3, not any of the newer codecs. Plays mp3s well though.
