ok did a post on cdrom, thought better do it on here aswell :)
Basically having problems extracting soem iso files, things that have been buggering up have been
Splinter Cell 2 (the retail release)
Tenchu Return To Darkness
Now i have tried the following,
FTPing the Iso file to the Xbox, then extracting with Complex ISO ripper. These both stop about 3/4 into the install with it just totally hanging, hd stops responding and have to reset
Extracting the ISO file onto my PC using an iso tool from xbox scene called xbox iso. This then crashes at the point saying errors etc etc. Now i downloaded these off an FTP and i'm sure if they were both buggered there would be complaints by now (splinter cell 2 pretty large release). So wondered if there is known patches needed for the games? or if the iso tools for ripping isos are not as good as burning it onto a DVDR.
I really wanted to just save some disks and I can't think of what the problem is :( i might try and download Tenchu again, check it wasn't just a dud file but rather not have to waste time downloading 1-2 gigs again.
If anyone has or had these problems then would be great cause i really dunno wat else to try other than burning them to a dvdr disk :) (which i have none of at the moment)
Thanks
