Have a look in Staples, they used to have a really great office chair for 50 quid (arm support, gas lift, swivel etc etc), I spent many happy hours in mine. Have a look at this page (http://www.staples.co.uk/ENG/Catalog/cat_class.asp?CatIds=1580,1587&name=UK%5FCL%5FLeather+Managers+Chairs) on their site - its worth going in and sitting on a few :)

Your local Makro C&C is also a pretty good source for cheap office chairs if you know someone who has a card for the store.

Macro is a great store mate...but like you say..you have to have a mem card. As for gen advice, i bought a regular recilner form IKEA for £30 about 12months ago. For £30 is the best value for money around. Good solid build but no armrests. However well worth it as it really comfortable n all. hope that helps as Macro dont have everything*

I'm surprised they don't have belts fitted :)

Actually, my boss would probably think seat belts on office chairs would be a good idea ...
