unless you overclock it.

My fsb can go up to 400, would it mess up if i put it up past the 200 m8

Just because you have an option for 400 does not mean you can run it at that. If your car has the tachometer (RPM) that goes up to 12,000 that does not mean that you should run the car on it.

but you could go up in stages, and see what your pc is capably of and still be stable, bung it up a few notches, a 3200xp should be capable of at least a couple of hundred more mhz. but that does depend on what memory you have and what ratio its set at, if its at 1:1 and you are using cheap slow memory you won't get very far, but if you slow the memory down, i am not sure if the increase in speed from the processor is worth it

if you are going to overclock it make sure you have a decent heatsink and cooling fan.

The reason your processor says 400 fsb is because its 200x2. As for P4's have 800fsb which is 200x4. If you overclock you need go in small steps. like 205,210,215 etc.. Usually you go by 1's, but thats well I think a little to low. As suggested have a good heatsink and fan and the proper amount of case fans. It also helps if you use some thermal paste such as arctic silver 3. It reduces the cpu considerably. There should be some guides to help you further in the overclock forum.
