My xbox is stuck at "processing acl" for over 45 minutes after copying a game to the hard drive. The disc never ejected yet. Should I continue to wait, or try resetting the xbox. Thanks.

Check the disc to make sure there are no smudges or bad scratches. What app are you using to copy the game?

You must be using dvd2xbox.This happens to me quite some time, I usually power off the system and reboot. All the game files are copied over and play w/o any problems later on. I think the acl is just another log that is stored in the game's root dir on the HDD.
