Green vertical lines on DVD Playback

Started to get green vertical lines during DVD playback. There are a number of them and they are intermittent (There all the time but appear to flash). When the TV tuner is selected the lines are still there but finer and appear black. I've swapped monitors and the problem still persists so definitely not the monitor.

The setup is ASUS A7V600 mobo, Connect3D Radeon 7000 Graphics Card, Leadtek WinTV Expert TV card, LG 4040B DVD writer.

Are they original DVDs or backups?

Both................It makes no difference.

What software are you using for playback?

If the lines are there the TV tuner is selected ... i.e. when watching TV, it would appear not to be just DVD related.
Have you tried removing & reinstalling your graphic card driver(s) ?

Not Yet, but that will be the next step, just wondered if anyone on here had suffered a similar problem. Might save me a lot of time if they had LOL
