That program I would think is a joke. You could run my IP address and see that in some cases I'm on 24 hrs for several days in a row but think about it could I. http://66.197.142.137/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif
I agree with Nuttapper you have something set wrong I don't know what it is causes I use AIM but I know there is a setting in AIM so you can hide. http://66.197.142.137/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif

tapper, have you made sure you only have one instance of msn running ? (task manager)
I've seen machines that have had "botched" upgrades and they have a couple of old versions of msn running in the background.

You can download patches and bots that do almost anything for Messenger.
You can get invisibility patches, flood bots, bots to steal usernames and passwords etc etc.
There are numerous sites where you can download pages of these programs.

Yep there are loads of ways to find out if someone's online, there's even a simple online script that does the job.
But more often than not its one of your mates ratting you out ;)

I found the answer to my question, I had deleted them from my MSN list, I deleted them from the hotmail account, then I was trawlin through the tabs on MSN when I saw this one..
Action > options > Privacy..
Not sure why or how, but the persons email address was in the allow box, i removed this into the blocked section and all seems to be well. went through all the mail addies and took out a few Id forgotton I had !!
Thanks for the input guys
