I have lots of .mov files and can convert them to avi (or whatever) fine - usually using TMGEnc.

However, I have a file here, which seems un-convertable.

I have tried it in TMGEnc, WinMPG and 'MOV to AVI WMV MPEG Converter'

TMPGenc loads the file fine, begins to convert normally, after about 10 minutes the time left shoots up to hundreds of days and my comp grounds down to a halt.

The file crashes WinMPG as soon as I go to convert.

The file converts in the last program but produces a file of around 200mb which is unusable and causes a windows error.

Ulead VideoStudi 9.0 wont do it either.

The file is completely viewable and produces no errors of any kind when playing, stats:

MOV / QT /MP4VideoInfo:
Picture Information:
Width: 855 Height: 352
BitCount: 24

Media Information:
Total Frame: 190299 FrameRate:25.00

AudioInfo:
SampleRate: 16 BitRate: 44100
Channels: 2 BlockAlign:4

Hope you can help.

Many Thanks.

Ah right, sorry, it says it's '3ivx'?

Try installing 3ivX and converting via dshow then.
