olympus c310 settings

how do i get this camera to give me shq pictures as default instead of hq. i change it in the menu but when i come to switch the camera on again its back on hq. simple thing to do, but annoying. thanks for any help.

It is a simple thing to do and your C310 should have this ability as do all Olympus cameras I have used, I have had to show a fair few Olympus owners how to do this. your cameras default setting is HQ, and the ALL RESET is set to ON. This function lets you choose wether or not you want the camera to remember its current settings when the camera is swithed off. The menu mapping varies slightly but the steps below should allow you to be able to set your camera either to default or as you set it.

In the main menu select MODE->SETUP->All RESET




OFF = The current settings will be restored when the camera is turned back on.




ON = The factory default settings will be restored when the camera is turned back on.
