Preordering Games from Amazon...

Hey all, :insane:

Was just wondering if anyone new what the deal was with preordering games. I ordered World of Warcraft from Amazon some time ago and it is due for release this friday. In your own experience does this mean Amazon get access to the game from thursday and despatch on Thursday for a Friday delivery?

I must be incredibly sad to have to ask such a question but I can't wait for this game!

The game is shipped to the stores on the same date & then the stores ship to you.

There are several dates:
date game comes out
shipping date
arrival date

Our shops get games when the post guy brings them. This might seem weird, but what it means is if you can buy it on the first that you can only buy it on the first after the post guy brings it that day :-)
