PS2 problems again.....

I just replaced the reset/eject cable last week which fixed my problem. all worked fine since then until last night. I stuck in a game to play, the tray closed pretty fast and all i get is the normal blue video screen. The lights on the buttons work and it resets and ejects the tray but no screen or sound.

check all the fuses on the board.

i also noticed that when i hit the reset button, the disc doesn not spin in the drive. The ps2 resets but spinning and no screen.

unplug it for a minute & plug back in.

i found a wire that came unsolder off the magic2 chips. drive works now
