Bought myself one today, mainly cus it was actually cheaper than just buying extension cables but also cus i wanted to connect 2 pcs sometimes
Thing is, I cannot get it working properly. Sometimes the mouse works in windows but its kinda random. The keyboard normally works in BIOS, right up to windows, where u see the lights flash on then off as it boots into it...then it doesnt do anything. Most of the time it responds to scroll lock x 2 which allows u to change the input but no actual keyboard functions work.
The monitor is fine switching back and forth but KB and mouse just wont work properly. Ive tried em with both sets of cables in both sides of the switch and it makes no difference.
Thing is its not like it doesnt work cus it does, its like windows is loading something thats stopping it working. Oh and even when the mouse doesnt work it still lights up (its optical) like its got power.
Is it a driver issue? Do i need different ones? Or does both sides need to be connected at once? (ive only got one side connected, dont need both on all the time)
Ive also tried different keyboards and mice and no difference
The KVM is just called '2-Port KVM Switch' and model number is: F1DJ102P
Keyboard and mouse im using is Logitech, although like i said ive tried others with the same outcome
Gonna try it on another PC in a minute, ill post back what happens
