Appears to be no video signal coming from ps2 so can't see any picture.
Any possible causes and fixes?

go over your install again,
make sure all points are correct,
check all wires with muiltimeter, and also make sure you never spilt any solder on the mainboard.

Make sure none of the wires or chip are being squashed, this is normally the problem, if you cannot see any probs with your soldering, then its down to that.

If you still can't get it to work, uninstall the chip and get it working, then start again.

I am having the same problem on a V7 with DMS4 chip. The install went fine. I played several back ups on it. My son took it to my parents house for the weekend and when he got there he said he had no video. I hooked it up here at my house and there is definately no video. I'll have to crack it open and see if any wires came loose.

That V7 sounds like a wire's come loose. Should be an easy fix.
Cheers
