what software ?

can anyone tell me what software and version i can use that will have setting that will let me select x8 in record mode for a dvdrw pioneer 108
i have nero version 6.3.0.0 and burnotence version 99b and they both only let me selct x4
anyhelp would be grateful
as its is drive me mad (bought this so i can record faster and cant do it)

Nero will burn at whatever speed(s) your media is capable of in your burner.
What media are you using ? & what firmware version ?

ritek x8 and firmware is 1.04
does nero let you select x8 in setting as in mine it only goes to x4
as does all my other sofware i use

You might have to upgrade Nero....Some versions of Nero don't get those sizes correct...
version 6.3.1.15 is the one I use and it Works Great...Pop into cdfreaks forums and see if there be a Firmware UpDate for that Pioneer....Good Luck..
