The best PERIOD or the best for the money? The best for the money is unquestionably Ritek DVD-R. The absolute best IMHO is definitely Taiyo Yuden. The reason why so many of us recommend using Ritek DVD-R is because it is almost as good as Taiyo Yuden but it is about half the price.
