is the xbox safe?

Recently ive had probs with my pc getting viruses etc, now my xbox connects to xbox live via a router.

At present the firewall of the router is disabled by default.

Is my xbox safe against any possible 'attacks'?

If not what should i do?

I would like to see someone with a windows designed virus try and screw up your XBOX. :laugh: Anyways, unless you are running Linux on your XBOX and happen to catch a virus designed for it, I don't see how you could possibly get one. ;)
