best method to backup dvd-rip, please.....

whats the best way to backup a dvd-rip movie, Im sure it was asked on the other forum but dont see it here.
Dont know much about dvd burning, as it shows, tried it with nero, as it is already compressed but it came up with an error, although the file size created seemed ok.
Original rip was dvd shrink and nero.

Any help appreciated

DVD Decrypter is all you need to back up an already backed up movie (if I`m reading you right?)

ISO read mode to create the image then ISO Write mode to write the image to a blank dvdr.

Yup, or any other burning program will work. As long as it is coming from a DVD-R then it will be fine. As mentioned above DVD Decrypter in ISO mode is a great way to go.

What was the error in Nero ?

Thanks guys, Hi Phil apparently it could not read one of the files.
I have since used Clone dvd, it appeared to work, not sure if its one of the better ones.

sometimes you have to play the dvd for a few seconds to unlock it so it can be read

hey quick question if it already is a dvd burn couldnt he use copy to dvd to make a new back up
