Why does my BT connection stop and XXXserver dial up?

I have had to re-install Kazaa lately and since i have, when i am on the internet sometimes my connection just hangs up and it dials this XXXSERVER??? I tried uninstalling it from the dial up networking but it randomly comes back?

I aint been on any noodie sites or anything funny and there is a new option in my programs for this GAIN advertising thing and it says its part of kazaa??

Anyone help me get rid of this XXX thing please?

Try the usual stuff like doing a full scan with norton (or whichever virus checker you have) and make sure its up to date. Also run adaware and spybot to be safe. I used to get virus emails all the time but fortunately these were picked up by norton. When I checked what they were on their online library, the majority were called p0rn diallers. Perhaps you may have picked one of these up.

Never used Kazaa but what I hear of it is not good, sounds like you have some kind of trojan..as a starter for 10 try Spybot Search & Destroy (freeware) and see what pops up.

Kazaa is filled with spyware cr@p. Uninstall it, run spy bot +ad aware, or spy sweeper. Then download kazaa lite resurection.

if u must use the original sharman networks version of kazaa then get diet kazaa which will remove all installed spyware and still let kazaa run
