Long time out of the scene...Help please

Hi all,

I have not been using my PS2 for around 18 months now. My set up is a neo 2.2 chip, with Game Shark 2 plus dongle thinggy. To load DVDR games i used devil May Cry demo disk swap trick. (Which as i remember was blinking hard to get right.)

Today after searching the house for doogle, i have found that my Game shark 2 disk is cracked across from center ot edge. (Prob the x-misses done it.)

Now as its been about 18 months since i last played with the console, things will have moved on. My question is......................................?????????? ??????

Whats my best option now???????????????................
Because i have dongle can i download and burn a new GS2??????...........

U cant boot a ps2 like that with a backup of anything. Get one from ebay.com they should have old ones.

u could use a one off knife trick to get hd advance on ur mem card triggered by orig ps1 game then use comp to ftp or local transfer ur games!

this way u could play all backups compatible with hdadvance (most of em are) without ever having or needing to boot a backup.

EDIT.oops just saw that ur gs is cracked...
