Right, ive just got myself a brand new crystal xbox fitted with an x3, unfortunately it seems to have come with 0 pre loaded applications so all i can do is load up games.
The problem is i can't do anything about this, this is what ive tried and i would appreciate any suggestions because ive spent days and still not found what i need.
1) ive looked at the option of installing via cd but im not even sure what i need to do, can i just leave everything as it was and load up a cd with something like xbmc and install or will it overwrite things. Also i have no idea where to get any apps that will install via cd, all ive managed to find is dvdx 1.0 which needs a dongle anyway so thats no good.
2) ive checked the options in my x3 menu and it has a priority option for the dash to load and it has evox and xbmc and a few others but no matter what order i put them in it just ignores it and loads up the original ms dash, what does this mean? do i need to install these dashes if i want to use them because my preference would be xbmc.
3) i might also be able to ftp to the xbox but thats not working either, my last xbox ftp'd ok but that was with evox installed which this doesn't seem to have, anyone know how to use the x3 ftp feature because im doing the same procedure and this xbox won't connect.
well if anyone has some help for any of the points above it would be greatly recieved.
