tv tuner card

i have just got a mercury tv card from maplin with remote but cannot get the remote to work.
is there anything in xp pro that can be causing this?

not 2 sure but did u install all the drivers that came with it?

If the drivers and remote sensor are installed correctly, the remote (with good batteries) should work.

everthing is installed.i have checked the battery with a multemetere and thats ok.
