Have the old messiah chip which is still working, but I got a new ps2(the bigger one, not slim version) which I need to chip. So what you guys think is the best and most reliable? Dont want to mess with the swapping method, just put the disk in and play :)

I'll second that. Defo the best chip I've fitted so far.

DMS and Matrix seem to be the two best options ATM for newer consoles.

Is DMS 3 still the best chip to go for???
I have the Satin Silver PS2....
Also, lots of people have been saying that the NEW SLIM PS2's can't be chipped successfully?
I have heard its the laser in the slimline PS2's (v12?) that are crap, thus when chipped and reading burned instead of pressed media, it tends to wear out very quickly.

Infinity has dvd region functions and can boot apps from the memory card. MX4 is just a chip that boots backup/import games.
