Anyone ever had this problem?

ive just installed a duo 2 se modchip into my v7 ps2.All games boot up great but the eject button now doubles as a reset button (when you hold your button on it the ps2 goes into standby,also the rest now doubles as a eject!) ive rechecked the points but still know luck! any ideas about what going on or the area i need to looking at? Ive changed the complete reset/eject button/cable and also changed the chip and still the same.

Check you haven't shorted anything out around where the RST point is soldered to the board.
