Matrix Inf Chip.. on a SLIM PS2... work.

i just bought a Matrix Inifinity chip for my 39000 v7 but i want to put it in a NEW SLIM Ps2 but i hear alot of problems that the laser burns out is there any solution to that problem? Where can i find news or updates for that thanks

What is the differences in the ML-X2 and Matrix Infinity ? Are they the same?
Can the Matrix Infinity work in the NEW SLIM PSTWO ? let me know thanks
