xtreme g (11).gi 2GB
xtreme g (12).gi 0.3GB
xtreme g .gi 2kb

had a rar file and unrared and it gave me these three files in a folder. I understand that .gi files are global images. i tried stomp record max and it said invalid image.

what to do?

try using 'Sonic Record Now Max' instead of 'Stomp'.
Make sure you load up the tidgy .gi file into burning program.

Cribbed this years ago but works fine..

delete the first one ( the little file) and then rename the other two to their name but without any spaces ie. xtreme11.gi for the lowest of the two numbers and xtreme12.gi for the other.

then bring up a dos console (command prompt) and type
copy /b xtreme11.gi+xtreme12.gi xtremeg.iso

this will copy the file and create one iso called xtremeg.iso

burn with your fav ISO burning tool

xtreme g .gi 2kbThese are quite normal .GI files and can be burned to disc as they are without any hocus pocus at all.

The smallest one (xtreme g .gi 2kb) acts like a .cue file and points to the other ones.
I suggest that you use Record Now Max, dvddecrypter or whatever you want (that can burn .GI files) to burn it.
Select the xtreme g .gi 2kb then burn away.:wavey:

or search download.com for 'GI' or whatever file type you have & it should bring up programs that can write those.
