I've just installed the DMS4 into 2 seperate PS2's. First V7 then a V5

They never seem to boot the backup games.

You can disable the chip by holding the square button on boot up.... even displays on the TV, and I quote

"DMS4 Disabled

Reset your console now"

Really nice touch.

I've downloaded the latest bios 0.2 and reflashed them with that.

How to use
----------
Either:
- Burn the upgrade BIN/CUE to CD-R and boot, then follow the onscreen directions
- Execute the provided ELF file using your favourite loader program, and follow
onscreen directions.
NOTE: This flash upgrade is compatible with BOTH DMS4 Lite and Pro modchips.

DMS4 Flash Features

- Autodetect disc type
- Boot homebrew applications
- DVD region free with green screen removal
- MC and HDD Dev.olution mode. Run homebrew applications directly from the
memory card or HDD.
- Modchip disable mode

While the console is booting, holding down certain buttons on controller
1 will activate certain features as described below:
TRIANGLE - MC Dev.olution mode
START - HDD Dev.olution mode
SQUARE - Disable modchip

Now I'm presuming its the "Boot homebrew applications" thats causing my problems.

Have they release a bios that can sort backups.

I'm presuming the chips is working fine as I installed them and all the functions that should be working are
