Watching DVDs on Xbox

Hi can anyone tell me how to set up my Xbox for watching DVDs, i have an executor chip but cant seem to watch dvds

you have to install a prog called dvd region free and run it in evox or buy a playback kit

Have you tried installing slayers 2.6 this installs all the players that you need, if you need some assistance then get in touch thru profile if you want helping out.

First of all which dashboard are you running (ie original MS Dashboard, Evox, Unleash X)? follow the advice listed by lumbie.

sorry to sound dumb but i havent got a clue what to do.
So if i find this program dvd region free i just copy it onto the hard drive.
All i know is i got an executor 2.3 in it

You can use the xbox media center or dvdx2 either program will allow you to play dvds on a modded xbox

you want to ftp the program to the e:/Apps folder, reboot and whatever dashbaord your running will show it under your applications after the reboot.

Xbmc has gotten very slick and proffesional you should give it a try.
