ps2 dvd help

hi ppl
i have a v4 ps2 with a messiah fitted
it was working fine playing backup and orig dvds then some idiot dropped it and after that it would only play ps1 ps2 orig and back up cds ive tried 3 different lasers in it and still no joy but all 3 lasers are fine
any suggestions

i would suggest that checking all solder points on the chip where still intact

hi all

checked solder points but its still doing the samething but i have also aquired another one that is unmodded and this also is doing the same could it be the l a chip if so is there anyone on here that can repair this
